SE/30 Reset/Programer Bottons

I think the rest button on my SE/30 may have gone bad. Does anyone know a part number for it if I end up having to solace it? I hope a solder joint has just come loose.

Are you sure the plastic tabs going from the outer button button didn't break?  That would be more common.  However, if you do have bad buttons on the logic board I don't know that you'll find one sold seperatly and I don't think its a common button.  However, rest assured knowing there are tons of these boards that suffered battery damage with these parts still being good 🙂

The button itself is pretty easy to find.

Never had any issue with it previously in any board I worked with.

The item itself is the kind of switch you will find in any accessory of that era, and still made today.

Used one  lately :

Thanks for the suggestions. I pulled out the plastic arms and discovered it had actually worked its way out just enough as to not engage the switch. I should remember by now to check the simplest possibilities first.

I wish I could find one of these units. I have 3d-printed a couple of different versions but it's not the same.
