68000 (Atari Jaguar) cross-development tool binaries for Windows ARMv7a (RT 8.1)
Posted by: vexatious on 2020-10-07 14:18:23
VBCC CVS_07-22-2020_[19=48=Pacific_Time] partial, for Windows RT 8.1.  Built and partially tested on a RT 8.1 local host.

Windows universal C runtime ARM must be installed and you need 7zip to extract the archive.  You assume all risks and responsibilities.

Will build vasm & vlink eventually (maybe) but for now you can grab those at forums.sonicretro.org.  But you need to register: https://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?threads/vasm-vlink-llvm-mingw-and-partial-vbcc-0_9g-for-windows-rt-8-1-armv7a.39077/.

SubQmod's smac 1.0.17 and sln 1.0.2, for Windows RT 8.1.  Built and partially tested on a RT 8.1 local host.  Code provided in separate archive at bottom.

Decided to upload since this is getting very hard to find.  Smac code includes .BAT build script for llvm-mingw RT 8.1 ARM users; non-RT ARM users can simply bypass signing and press key to continue with this.

Windows universal C runtime ARM must be installed and you need 7zip to extract the archive.  You assume all risks and responsibilities.

What is this? You are in a vintage macintosh forum posting something a bit eccentric and I have no idea what it even is...

It seems like homebrew Atari Jaguar development tools, compiled for the long dead Windows RT platform. I already reported it as it seems like this just has no place on 68kMLA.

Config files are here http://phoenix.owl.de/vbcc/2019-10-04/vbcc_unix_config.tar.gz.  I'll post an example later but too much time and this forum won't let me edit.

In case anyone is confused, apparently rmac and rln are cross-assembly tools for developing 68000 and other binaries, mostly targeted at Atari machines:

Mod Hat: It's possible there could be something of use to *somebody* on the MLA since some of these tools could be useful for generic bare-metal 68000 development, but it does seem like it's a bit of a stretch.

It would probably be preferable if the OP would stash these somewhere else, maybe stuff them on Github or whatever, and link to it with a coherently titled thread about "68000 cross-assemblers for Windows RT" or whatever.
