Question never asked came up long ago: can the LEDs in the tombstone mouse be replaced with visible spectrum LEDs and (probaby) detectors for them?
Wondered about that when my Pro Mouse succummed to criminally negligent strain relief syndrome. replaced it with an LED equipped micro-mouse and started hacking a Tombstone's guts into the Pro. If nothing else, a tiny PCB should be easily implemented to liven up a clear mouse case's movements?
