and as a bonus does anyone have a "StickyClick" that works for 7.0.1 (A/UX) or just 7.0.1 is fine, too.
Those are the most needed functions, by far!
It's so hard to work without them.
This will make my hobby Saturday complete.
Thanks!!

| Posted by: rezwits on 2016-02-27 15:04:14 damnit, in A/UX 7.0.1• it says "Cannot be used with this Macintosh" damn damn damn!
but on another note, oh hell yeah armor alley!!
gotta load that up!
| Posted by: rezwits on 2016-02-27 15:45:25 oh btw, Now Utilities 6 is loaded tho and somewhat works, Apple-Shift-Del works to empty the trash but not the Apple-Del to move to the trash, this is in Now Quickfiler, I wonder if I need AppleScript, can you load AppleScript for 7.0.1•?
Thanks tho btw!
| Posted by: IPalindromeI on 2016-02-27 16:21:41 I think the hooks only existed in 7.1.2, but you can see if Scriptable Finder (optional?) and the extensions don't blow up hideously.
| Posted by: Paralel on 2016-02-27 17:04:30 7.1.2 68k edition, or 7.1.2 Power Mac edition?
I'm honestly not sure how much different there is between them. I'm a 68k purist, so I don't dabble in Power Mac stuff.
7.1.2 68k edition, mostly easily obtainable from the Apple Legacy Software Recovery CD, comes with System 7.1.2 and Finder 7.1.4, which is scriptable (the only other pre-7.5.1 version that is scriptable is Finder 7.1.3, which was part of certain software installs)
| Posted by: rezwits on 2016-02-27 18:07:29 yeah I am locked in to 7.0.1• with A/UX, bummers, guess I'll have to get to writing some code, cause it's really the only annoying thing, to have drag drag drag to the trash, over and over. ugh
But a project is a project and should be fun!
Thanks guys!
| Posted by: IPalindromeI on 2016-02-27 18:16:07 rm doesn't work?
| Posted by: Floofies on 2016-02-28 11:38:52 I'd assume, being UNIX, that you could make a bash droplet. No? Perhaps something that could be launched by keystroke?
| Posted by: rezwits on 2016-02-28 13:03:58 Yeah that's what I am working on, but I gotta figure out how to get "current selection" being that there's no AppleScript. I am not to worried tho, using the unix side help in these situations, rm is a little rough just because no "oops", but the other thing is I would have to determine if it's a directory for rmdir, and then I still haven't found a way to do rmdir -r this version of "unix" or version of rm, doesn't support that flag, it's crusty and old. But I am still setting this up, it's a project for sure. But I did get ssh up and running that was needed badly. And now that thats done I can sit on the couch and chill, with my AUX box.
Laters...
