| What kind of mouse is this? |
Posted by: John_A on 2020-04-16 08:18:52 What is it?
Has anyone tried it?

It's weird, it feels really imprecise and worst of all, at least by that point, it's super cheap and plasticky. I can't speak for the original like you have there, but the second version I wouldn't pay more than $5 shipped for. Both are probably more of a novelty than a pointing device you'd actually want to use.

Posted by: John_A on 2020-04-16 09:26:44 Found an image of the back of the box. Doesn't seem to be a mouse, more like an early, minituarized touch pad. Up to 4000x4000dpi? :-o

Posted by: blusnowkitty on 2020-04-16 09:39:16 Nah, it's a mouse-like device - the thing in the middle is permanently attached to the device and you moving it around is how you move the cursor. There's nothing touchpad like about it (except that it's awful).

Posted by: cheesestraws on 2020-04-16 09:59:17 Yeah, it's something like an ungainly cross between an analogue joystick, a touchpad and a mouse. Watch the video I linked above, it'll show how it works.
