| LC575 Repair? |
Posted by: thxkbye on 2020-03-29 10:29:43 Anyone know a good shop or someone that can repair a LC575 board? I bought a Performa LC575, it did not survive shipping, but the logic board seems to be ok except one spot of corrosion and a missing cap or resistor (see pics). I plan to put this in my CC. Its a hard to find board id like to put it in the hands of an expert, unless someone thinks this is something I could do myself, I am ok with an iron... Would need to know what i need to replace.
Thank you!

Posted by: beachycove on 2020-03-29 11:00:37 In my experience, LC575 boards do not need a recap as much as some others. I had several here up to a couple of years ago that I sold on, and all I did was wash them for peace of mind, dry, and after that, every one of them worked as intended, sound and all. The 575 lb in my CC is still going strong on that basis. Don't know why.
