PowerBook 1400 VST MO Drive

Any info about this drive? I don't have a PB 1400. Yet. But wondering if it's worth acquiring one just for the sake of using this. I assume the same software that works for the 5300 MO drive should work with this one, too... as it doesn't have any software... or box... or manuals..

My guess is that the standard software that mount MOs will work on this too — Formatter, SilverLining and the like.
