I have the SCSI2SD set up as one SCSI ID (0), and have the drive partitioned into two drives. I installed 6.0.8 on one drive, and 7.1 on the other. I ran the machine off 7.1, no issue. Then I used Startup Disk to designate the other partition as the startup drive. Started up in 6.0.8 no problem. Now, however, I can't seem to get back to 7.1. System folder is blessed, and I use the Startup Disk INIT in the Control Panel to designate the 7.1 disk, but it always restarts in 6.0.8. Of interest, when I do use Startup Disk, both drives are highlighted by default. I have to click elsewhere, then click the 7.1 partition to have it highlighted only. Am I doing something wrong here? I'll admit, I have no experience with dual boot between Systems 6 and 7.

Worth a try- though the system Startup Disk utility usually works when the systems are on discreet partitions. Are either of the partitions larger than 2GB or beyond the first 8GB of space on disk?
Also FWIW, this seems relevant:
