| SCSI2SD on Macintosh Plus |
Posted by: WakelessFoil on 2019-11-02 10:33:51 I recently got a SCSI2SD V5.1 and have been having trouble setting it up with my Macintosh Plus. I have it setup to emulate a single 1 GB Seagate drive and am trying to use Lido 7 (booted off of floppy emu) to format the drive. I have already edited the 3 special setting for the Macintosh Plus in the util.exe program. When everything is booted up it doesn’t even realize there’s a SCSI device connected.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Posted by: sfiera on 2019-11-02 17:29:34 I recently went through this with a V5.5 and a plus. The three things that tripped me up were:
- The three settings from the SCSI2SD Mac Plus page (sounds like you have this covered).
- Getting the image right. Eventually, I used one of the pre-prepared ones from this blog instead of building it myself.
- Power—I had read but then forgotten that I needed to provide power to the SCSI2SD via USB.

Posted by: dochilli on 2019-11-03 05:05:11 Can you show your settings of the scsi2sd ( general settings and setting of the scsi ID and so on)?
Here is a thread where you can get a lot of information
On page 2 and 3 are some posts of MOS8_030 and me. I could get a bootable plus with my scsi2sd.

Posted by: Crutch on 2019-11-03 07:49:51 I went through something similar recently. In short, I formatted with Lido, then used SilverLining 5.4 (NOT a newer version) to install drivers, ensuring “Enable Blind handshakes” was unchecked. This may help:
