| Help with Apple IIe card for LC, 140kb disk images? |
Posted by: old_68k on 2016-02-02 23:09:46 Hello all,
I have been trying to get the Apple IIe PDS card going in my LC575. I have adtpro working and can send over 800KB images no worries.
BUT i have a 140KB image that i think is from a 5.25" drive. I can't create it for the IIe cos i don't have a old 5.25" . Is there a utility for the 68K mac that will convert it to a 800KB disk?? Or something i can extract the files from and copy to a apple IIe partition??
I have done searching on the net... Seams like i have to buy the 5.25" floppy to get it to work.
Thanks,
D.

Everyone had software on real floppies! Though they do not have support for disk images directly through DOS/ProDOS, there are many program utilities out there that will. The Apple II Software Library is one of the largest on the planet - title wise, second only to UNIX/Linux. You need to search the archives to find one. (If Dr. Levinson he would know exactly what program titles are out there you can use).
