| MAC VIDEO ADAPTER - 1988 | |
| Posted by: flowers on 2019-10-25 01:06:34 Hello! I've the hands over a Macintosh SE/30 that got inside a " MAC VIDEO ADAPTER" with an exit by 8 DIN Plug. IS anybody here that know more about it and/or can let me know the pinout of this Exit ? The adapter is a simple PCB that manage and transfer signals from the logic board to this 8 DIN pin, with true it the 14pin power connector. If needed i can post some pictures. There are 7 pins connected with just one out ( the nr. 7). | |

I remember the 80/90 projectors but i didn't remember in that a PLUG IN 8 DIN... something much more familiar with some old black&White TV... but again. i'm just looking to understand what signal are coming out from the 8DIN. | |

VERY strange, does the board plug into the A/B connector to pass the signals through to the neck board? I'm guessing there's an external box powered by the connector? That would convert the Mac video fed to the connector to convert the output to NTSC a/o PAL a/o Composite. You'll need to buzz the connections to see what's going on. | |
