| ibook g4 battery not seeing full battery capacity |
Posted by: D@llas on 2019-10-01 07:33:45 Hi all.
I bought a new battery for my iBook G4 and although on the battery it shows 5200mAh OS X is only seeing 4222 (with a cycle count of 4).
Same with coconut battery. It registers the original battery capacity at 4400mAh, with a maximum capacity of 4222.
any ideas?

Did you try going back in time? I did not, but that would have been a good idea! Thanks.

However that may be, the cells have deteriorated, and you don't have a 5200mAh battery.
Ah the joys of old laptop batteries!
