What is this card?

The card pictured was in a G4 tower that I recently came across. The drive had been re-installed, so there was no software on it that gave any hints as to what this might be.

I think the Altera Flex chips are some kind of FPGA.

The I-Cube chips are "SRAM-based bus oriented switches" http://altera.co.kr/_hdl/1/erc.msstate.edu/www/~reese/EE8063/crossbar.pdf

The Trimedia chips are "Very Long Instruction Word" processors of some kind. The four you see (one of the heat sinks was already gone) are on a daughter card, there are four more underneath.

I'm guessing some kind of graphics accelerator, helped by the fact there was another machine that had an AVID board set in it that I think was from the same place.

Any info appreciated.

Part of the ICE family (BlueIce) of After Affects boards sold individually and also packaged with Avid and Media 100 systems.

Makes sense, considering the other machines that came in along with it that had AVID hardware.

Does anyone want this thing? It's of no use to me...

I have one already (might be the one with the daughter card will have to look). If anybody has the plug ins for After Affects let me know, need those and can't find them.
