| Four Macintosh SEs | |
| Posted by: Compgeke on 2016-01-20 21:19:35 I've acquired more cheap Macs, four more SEs this time. I only really wanted the SE FDHD but the other three were so cheap I had to get them as well. All together there's: SE FDHD w/ 1 meg ram. No HDD. SE Dual Floppy w/ 2.5 megs ram, HDD bracket, carrying bag, Apple Standard Keyboard, mouse and a Zoom 2400RX modem. No HDD SE w/ 4 megs ram and single 800K. No HDD SE w/ 4 megs ram, single 800K and a Radius sticker\back plate but no Radius cards. No HDD. Here's some quick pics (with inconsistent colour):       All four work fine and no battery damage\leakage at all. Next step is to clean them up and see if I can dig out enough HDDs. FDHD will be getting the Hypercharger 020 upgrade for even more fun 🙂 . | |

| Posted by: Compgeke on 2016-01-21 20:37:18 Went ahead and found an HDD to throw in the dual floppy model: 40 meg drive from who knows what (LC probably). A pain to get the screws in under it but eventually they were straight. Hard to get the screw driver past the casing on the left and motherboard cable on the right, Apple really never intended on a 3rd thing being stacked on top of the two floppies.  Yup aint that the truth. I have an 030 accelerator for the SE from that.ÂI found my Hypercharger '020 inside an SE I picked up. Not quite as nice as an '030 would be but the 68020 is certainly much faster than the factory 68000 is. | |
