| ImageWriter II overhaul |

I am going to start overhauling my family’s original ImageWriter II that came with my dads Mac Plus in 1988. It has always worked, and still does. Sitting dormant, the motor or rollers that drive the belt had locked up, but manually moving it back and forth before powering it up stopped the seizing. At a bare minimum, I’d like to know what the correct procedure for lubricating/cleaning the moving parts is. Second, any good source of black ribbons?
lastly, how does one get the ImageWriter on an AppleTalk network?

They used to be a dime a dozen. I don't know what's with the absurd prices now. It wasn't that long ago (like, a year?) you could get a shrinkwrapped one for $20.

@LaPorta Upon further reflection, I might be thinking of the StyleWriter AppleTalk adapter.
However, there's a brand new Imagewriter adapter for $75 + shipping. Cheaper than the other ones listed.

Thanks very much, I'm going to see about how much I really need that, versus just using a switch box.
Anyone have any kind of service manual or suggestions for the overhaul of the printer itself.
