Hello,
i have a power macintosh g3 minitower equipped with iomega internal zip drive. Although i see at system profile that the system recognizes the zip drive, when i insert a disk, no msg appears on the desktop. The drive seems that it recognizes the disk because it loads for 1-2 secs but nothing happens. Then, the only way to eject the disk is to take out the zip plate and push the button of the zip drive. I tried also to do the iomega diagnosis but it says that i have to put a disk inside (although the disk is already there).

Best solution is an inexpensive upgrade: IOMEGA-Internal-Zip-Drive-250MB-ATAPI-Beige
