I have both AppleCD SC (big square CD caddy load CD Drives) and Ive connected it up in LC475, but it doesnt seem to be working at all, yes SCSI is terminated, CD extensions is installed unless it has its own Extensions. In Mac OS 8 system profiler cannot see the CD ROM in both of them..
Can someone rattle my brain's out!?
Cheers

Try different cables. sorry I shouldve explained more - yes both of them are set for SCSI ID3 which is CD ROM default. Checked the cables as well as I had an hard drive on that cable and confirmed the cable is ok.
I noticed; AppleCD SC - will not spin, it'll show orange LED flashing.
AppleCD SC Plus - will not show any orange LED flashing.
Both above will not eject. So looks like both units needs attention
