| Worth it to regress trace cut CC mod? |

I was given a non-working Color Classic 'Mystic' with a 575 motherboard. The whole machine is in really rough shape and I'm not really sure where to begin on trying to repair it. One thing I thought I might try was to undo the tracecut mod and do it the "correct" way posted on this forum.
I just need to remove the jumper from the isolated power pin and jumper it back to where it was originally, right? The sense wire mod will still be necessary if I understand correctly.

Welp I got it working now so I guess I will do the fancy VGA conversion when I get the chance.

So , what was wrong with the CC/Mystic? I have a Mystic and I'm interested in doing the correct VGA mod as well.
