Blue & White CPU jumpers- Where to buy?
Posted by: mraroid on 2019-01-26 09:23:30
Hello....

I have posted a photo of the jumper settings of my Yikes! motherboard.  I believe they are the same for a G3 Blue & White. The top of the photo is the inside of the motherboard and the bottom of the photo is the outside of the motherboard.

I am using the chart here:

https://eshop.macsales.com/tech_center/index.cfm?page=zif/bwjumpers.html

If I am reading the jumpers correctly, the options are set for a 350Mhz processor.  Is this correct?

Where can I buy the little jumper pins I see in this jumper block?  My CPU is 500Mhz and I need to change it.

Thanks

It's not hard to find on Google.

If you want some Mac-specific guidance, Operator Headgap has a page on jumpers that they advertise on their front page; http://drivejumper.com

http://stn2.headgap.com/resale/FMPro?-token=14088865&-db=ProductsC.fp3&-lay=WEB&-format=items.htm&-sortfield=SortID&-Max=40&category=jumpers&-find

It's not necessary to get them from there. You don't need to get any special Mac jumpers, though. They're... jumpers. Same ones used for SCSI drives, PCI/Nubus cards, you name it. You could waltz into Fry's or call up some other big box store that has them for sale.

OK.  Thank you.  I have some hard drive option pins that look sort of like them, but they are in a small plastic case.  I thought about taking them apart to see if they fit.  I tried google and did not find the link you posted.  That is just what I need.
