Got a IIfx last year with rotted caps, this, would not then on. I've had it in my closet, and I've been wondering how much ram was installed.
There are two sets of 4 Simms. One set is made of 4 Simms that are labeled KINGSTON USA KTA64000/FX and the other set is made of Simms labeled KTA-16000FX KIT OF 4
I am in disbelief while reading the chart here http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator_new/parts_disc.asp?root=&LinkBack=&SearchType=KingPNFind&KingPN=KT&ManPN=&DistPN=&Manufacturer=
Do I really have... an actual set of an ungodly 80MB ram Simms for a IIfx? Am I dreaming? Or are these more likely to be smaller amounts...
| Posted by: Unknown_K on 2018-12-29 19:20:28 A 16MB kit would be 4x4MB for 16MB total.
A IIfx only has a couple SMT Aluminum caps on it, not a major rework (they do control the power shutting down).
