Posted by: Rikintosh on 2018-12-08 05:32:52 Is there a system disk that I can use to boot a powerbook 170, and which can be ejected to use another disk just as it was with the old macs? The HD of my powerbook died, I can only boot it with a system 7.1 disk, but it does not allow eject, and the machine only has a floppy drive

Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2018-12-08 20:36:06 Now that I've got a working PB100 again, I need to find 6.0.8L(?) to try double booting. Too bad it wasn't there.

Posted by: gpbonneau on 2018-12-09 07:48:02 Yes I did it on a dozen successfully (Conner 20 and 40MB), only one (very worn and noisy) could not be reformatted. Thanks a lot to aplmak 🙂
