| Macintosh Plus keyboard converter? |

I got a Mac Plus without a keyboard, so I'm looking for keyboard converters. I've been looking all over the place and found some stuff, but still confused and lost. I'm trying to think, Is there a way I can just solder rj11 cable cords to ps/2 keyboard cables?

Is there a way I can just solder rj11 cable cords to ps/2 keyboard cables? Sure, you could solder away but it still won't work. The Macintosh keyboard has a custom communication protocol that's documented in Inside Macintosh volume III.

I know there are several sources for pre-assembled converters, but if you really want to roll your own this one is only about $20 in parts.
