Clock Battery replacement on Powerbook 180c

Posted by: Punkyclown on 2018-06-26 09:26:44 Hi All, Can someone instruct me on how to remove the clock battery on a Macbook 180c .  I do not want to break anything, and it seems to be held down, but I can't see how.  I removed the plastic cover on the top but have no idea on how to get the clock battery out. Really appreciate any help on this, thanks. Brad Hansen

Posted by: gpbonneau on 2018-08-27 04:04:17 You need to open the PowerBook (remove battery, 4 screw below, one behind, and remove the ribbon from the screen). The battery is soldered on the interconnect board (you need to remove the board). Battery # VL-2320
