I have a Macintosh Classic II connected with a Keyspan USB to Serial adapter to a Raspberry Pi running Basilisk II. I have ZTerm running on both of the machines, and am just trying out some communication stuff.
I found that when the data rate (under Settings->Connection) is set to 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 or 57600 on both machines sending data is no problem.
But if I set it to 14400 or 28800, I can only receive gibberish.
Does anyone know why? | Posted by: Elfen on 2015-12-13 18:08:45 You have other other options on or off - Parity, Even/Odd bit, Asynchronous/Synchronous...?
| Posted by: danda on 2015-12-13 23:04:58 All the settings are the same on both machines. As I said, it works perfectly for some data rates, and doesn't for others, leading me to think that the other settings are correct.
I'll try and upload some screenshots today.
