As of about 3PM CDT this afternoon, there was a nice-looking LC III at Gateway Electronics in St. Louis, on the junk rack at the back of the store.

Although I didn't turn it on, there were no capacitor or battery problems at first glance. The case looked pretty un-yellowed; there was hardly any dust, even. No monitor or peripherals, just the computer. A decent specimen, if not the most exciting machine. If you're interested and you live in St. Louis, and if someone else hasn't bought it, you could go and pick it up.
