| Macintosh Portable memory card Identification |
Posted by: AlpineRaven on 2018-05-28 20:10:25
Good afternoon all,
I've got this PDS Memory Card for Macintosh Portable, It was given to me by someone but I've never ever got this to work. Hoping someone here might know something about this card and help me to get this to work including those dip switches. I've already tried in both M5120 and M5126 Portables and both Portables shows garbled screen. It is possible that card isn't working at all? (and FYI both Portables are re-capped)
Cheers

Apparently the company was called PSI Integration.
And this comment, "The PSI card is a memory card. supposedly it gave you up to 8mb. You need a driver to use it but if it's bombing the system as-is either it has problems" http://www.vcfed.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-36081.html
By the chips I am guessing it's a 2mb card.

Posted by: gurrag on 2018-05-31 15:30:45 I have one of those in my m5120 portable, and indeed its a 2mb card.
I did not need to install any drivers to get the memory detected.
Had to fiddle around with the switches abit though, but its easy since its only 9 different combinations.
