| Turbo 601 66 MHz in Mac IIcx? |

Has anyone tried to fit a Turbo 601 66 MHz, in a socketed 040 Turbo adapter, in a Mac IIcx?
I like to try it, but I don’t know what to expect? Perhaps smoke or explosion? Or is there slim a chance of success? ;-)

A IIcx is an '030 so a socketed '040 adapter wouldn't do much good.

Or is there slim a chance of success? My bet is you won't get any further than on the SE/30 with a T601 installed. It might still chime but will get stuck right there.
No smoke to be expected.
