A USB CD-R drive that will work with Mac OS 9 on G3 iMac?

So, Title says it all really, I'm looking for a USB CD burner that will work on a G3 iMac running Mac OS 9 so I can burn stuff I download on it rather than having to turn around to another machine.

All my older external burners are SCSI and the only USB optical drive I have is a relatively new Dell DVD-RW drive that while it can actually work as a disk reader in OS 9, I doubt there are any drivers that will make it work as a burner.

I'm just looking for some popular model names/numbers of the era that will make it easier to find what I'm looking for in a sea of stuff that won't work because it's just too new.

You might try to find an old copy of Toast for OS9. It may let you burn with the Dell drive.

Yeah, I loaded Toast on it for mounting images. With the extensions loaded it does not recognize the Dell drive as being a writable drive, unfortunately.

For non SCSI Macs, I mostly used Lacie usb optical drives with Toast in OS9
