Posted by: macalle69 on 2018-05-06 10:49:30 Hello Folks !
I've got this Video card ( it was inside a Macintosh IICi with battery leakage on Mobo) I have tested this card on several other Macintosh I have ( CX, Ci, Macintosh IIFx and Quadra ) but every time same result video distorted as shown , I have also installed SuperMac software but no success
Is Video Board damaged or maybe suggestions to fix this issue ? thank you !

Try holding down the option key when you turn on the computer, and see if the card will cycle through refresh rates and resolutions and see if it will sync up. If you get a usable picture, release the key.
If it's like the two Thunder/24s and Spectrum/24 I have, then it's slightly different - you hold down Option past Happy Mac (even through the Welcome screen) and it should dump you to a black screen and start the cycle, and you would press the space bar to accept the current resolution/sync rate and reboot.
Note, on my 950, sometimes the space bar doesn't register so be ready to just hit the reset key (from the inside of the case if you don't have the IIci key switches) just in case.

Use TattleTech or SlotInfo to verify card identity and ROM revision.
