Hello,
I have a Rasterops video card that is clearly labeled 8/24 xli that I'm trying to use in a Iici. These boards are supposed to put out 24-bit color, but I am only getting 8-bit. The options for higher bit output are greyed out for the driver software and the monitors panel shows only through 256 colors. Software is installed and works. The Rasterops Paintboard I am currently using puts out 24-bit color, and when I use the xli, I get the RAM disk option. Is there a setting or a switch on the board that I'm missing that enables 24-bit color? I see no switch on the board and only one jumper, the presence or absence of which doesn't impact this issue.

Get it outta Slot $E if that's where you've got it. Try the PaintBoard in there to see if you can bork it. [}🙂]
