| Powerbook 180 cursor and nothing else |
Posted by: Jon183 on 2017-12-20 02:43:33 Got my 180 today, very cheap with a lot of stuff in a bag, coincidentally came from a teacher at my old school.
It just has a movable cursor and a warping noise like a sci-fi teleporter. A working floppy bootdisk did nothing. Got spare parts for it though.
Will upload pictures once I open it and get off my phone which refuses to upload photos 90% of the time.

Posted by: Jon183 on 2017-12-20 07:10:12 Managed to get the system enabler file to a floppy, then to the LC to extract, then back to the PC to compile a 7.1 disk. Will try once its written. I should learn how to use mini vmac.

Posted by: Jon183 on 2017-12-20 07:42:51 Thanks for the help, its great to have my first working 68k laptop. I will check if the RAM module was the problem tomorrow. I hope it works, not sure why 4 chips have a shiny surface.
