About a year ago picked up a Macintosh IIx from someone cleaning out their garage. They also had boxes of disks that they were planning to send to the dump that they passed on to me. This was about the time I was packing everything up to put in storage in preparation for renos and a move between cities, so this is the first time I've been able to pull everything out to take a look... that and get one of my macs set up and running. I really to get them recapped.
Now that I'm digging through the boxes it looks like he did development / testing work for apple and other companies.
I now have a lot of OS disks without version numbers, but instead names like Juggler, Pinball, and Paris.
For the ones that are labeled, the oldest I've found so far is what appears to be an OS disk, labeled MacStuff 1,2,3 and appears to be from September 1984, there is also a disk that seems to be the Apple Lisa OS.
There is a ton of commercial software too.
I'm in the process of creating disk images, and will post a list later.

System 6.0.6 was released publicly, but it didn't last too long because it had some serious bugs that broke the keyboard and AppleTalk.

What are "ROM Maps?"
I'm guessing ROM dumps of some kind.
There is a set of disks labeled "Microsoft Programmer's Workshop" Version 2.0A3 3/4/87
One of the disks has a folder called ROM Maps, containing the files MacPlusROM.map and MacIIROM.map

Sounds like some pretty interesting stuff. You should consider uploading the images to archive.org as I know they are interested in growing their collection of early Mac floppy images.
ROM maps could be some kind of table that explains where things are in the ROM's memory layout, probably not full ROM images. Are they pretty small files?

I seem to have a developer's version of System 7?
I thought it was simply the box for a purchased version of System 7. But the CD-ROM inside is:
Apple Developer Group, The May 1991 Golden Master Release, System 7.
Seems to have a bunch of extra info for developers to get their code ready to run on System 7.

Regarding 6.0.6: it was shipped with some very, very early Macintosh Classics. These Classics came with a set of 6.0.7 disks as well and users were advised to destroy the 6.0.6 disks. If you've seen one of those System disks with a green "6.0.7" sticker on it, it's from an early Classic that had them thrown in along with the memo not to use the original disks. My August 1990 Classic had such a disk set.
6.0.6 actually is usable if you don't put it on a network! I've run it on a Classic with minimal difficulty! Honestly, I like running it just for show...
