| Quadra 700 speaker.. same as IIci / IIcx? |
Posted by: Tarantulas on 2017-12-11 19:59:16 Can the IIci speaker be used on a Quadra 700? The manuals don't seem to make a distinction between the parts... but the IIci speaker is 2 pin, and the Quadra 700 motherboard has 3 pins.
Any idea? If it's not compatible... where can I find a replacement speaker?
Thanks!

The mounting for the speaker looks identical to the IIcx/IIci.

Not accelerated, but real nevertheless.
It's probably in the machine for dual displays. A Toby-driven 12/13/14-inch display would be good for palettes, where the 700's onboard video will outperform most NuBus video cards that existed at the time of its introduction and can easily handle more color and higher resolutions.
