I guess they're finally losing all their value. Unlike Jon183's, mine came with 8 gigs ram and a 750 gig hard drive. No battery or charger with it but for $20 I'm not complaining. Interestingly enough, these are even supported natively by High Sierra.
Cosmetically it's reasonable, it has the display assembly cracking and the bottom is a bit warped around the battery. I assume the original swelled up at some point, hence it's gone and the bottom bowed.

| Posted by: Jon183 on 2017-11-29 14:25:04 Well that's a much better deal than I got. My macbook had a swollen battery still inside which caused the bottom lid to open, the original user tried to seal it with duct tape. The new battery has condition listed as normal but the trackpad isn't working too well, but it works well enough to use for now. I was looking at the cracks and the hinges have none, pretty much two minor crack lines around where the battery inflated. There is no way im replacing that part of the case, tried it before and its a nightmare.
