| Opening an ibook g3 yoyo charger |
Posted by: Jon183 on 2017-11-26 05:04:09 Hi everyone, I have no idea how to open my charger for my newly acquired ibook g3 tangerine. I plugged it into my ibook then powerbook g3 lombard and they didn't charge, so I stripped the wires and tested voltage, it was very low.

Either keep it for looks, find a cheap replacement, or one of the generic dirty cheap eBay chargers work quite well.

They should be very cheap and genuine apple.

Posted by: CC_333 on 2017-11-26 17:25:07 I've cracked a few open to repair broken cables, and while they're no longer perfect, they still look more or less okay to me. At least they work now!
Of course, they were all scratched and scuffed up to begin with, so there was no incentive to keep them looking pristine (because they weren't).
