Max Drive Size for A/UX?

Hi all,

What is the max drive/volume size for A/UX?

I expect that there will be limitations on the Mac partition and boot partition but can there be larger "storage" volumes?

Any special considerations?

aux-penelope is still up (for the moment)…

"When the Apple Workgroup Server 95 starts up, the fsck command is run from the A/UX Startup application. It cannot check a file system larger than 2GB. Therefore, limit the size of your root file system to 2,097,151 KB so that the root file system can be checked at system startup. Once A/UX is running, the fsck command can check file systems as larger than 4 GB." -- A/UX 3.1 Update ReadMe

Apple's own docs mention enormous drive sizes but I figured it would fall short of the theoretical limit:
