| Battle Chess - Setup se Out of Memory |

I've not fired up Battle Chess on my SE/30 in ages. I tried it this evening for my daughter who wanted to play. Unfortunately, it gives me "Setup se Out of Memory" error dialogs, one after another, such that I have to Force Quit the app. I changed the Minimum Size and Preferred size for memory, but to no avail. I am running it on OS 7.1. I've got 32MB of RAM with 32-bit addressing ON, so lack of RAM is not an issue.
I also see that I am not alone in encountering this error:

Run Disinfectant app.
Just suggestion.
The Dark Castle dsk image that was available from BMOW was infected with CDEF virus.

No issues with viruses. But interestingly, I just now booted into System 6.0.8 and now I can launch it without any errors. So I wonder if it's a compatibility problem with System 7?

Have you tried turning 32 bit memory access *OFF* in System 7?

Try using 24-bit addressing.
I've run Battle Chess on an SE/30 with 7.1 before without problems.

Thank you both for the suggestion. I switched off 32-bit addressing in the Memory Control Panel and rebooted into System 7.1 and found a Battle Chess now launches just fine.
Now if I could just get LoadRunner 1.0 to stop crashing every now and then, my kids will be all set!
It never ceases to amaze me how fun these old games are even after all these years, especially the Dark Castle series.
