| LC1/2 Roms in a Macintosh II mainboard? | |
| Posted by: uniserver on 2013-12-10 22:44:21 hey guys i have a Macintosh II Mainboard here.. i'm about ready to do a re-cap on it. the only thing that might keep me from making it work is , the 4 ROM Chips are missing. I know the LC1 and LC2 have 4 chips for rom same as the Macintosh II. Can anyone think of a reason why maybe i should not run LC rom's in a Macintosh II main board?  | |

| Posted by: bbraun on 2013-12-11 10:39:43 Isn't there solder points for a ROM SIMM socket underneath those DIP sockets? Desolder the DIPs and solder in a ROM SIMM socket, and use a dougg3 ROM SIMM! 🙂 | |
