Apple //e PAL machines and color

For those users, who might have an Apple //e PAL machine, just an note that if you're having trouble with colour output, take a look of the motherboard.

There's an dip switch in the middle-right end of the board (see picture) where you can choose OSC1<->OSC2 oscillator.

I had very distored colour output to my Samsung TV/display with composite cable before this and i thought the problem being with the cable, the monitor or the board's video

connector/chips.. never even thought of this.

This doesn't excist on NTSC machines i believe?

Wonder if this does 50hz <-> 60hz change? Seems that i need some technical manual for Apple //e as well.

Correct. On the NTSC boards, I haven't seen that.

Anyway, cool that it's working properly now.
