| Fix for Mac Identifier 1.1.1 crash at startup |
Posted by: volvo242gt on 2013-10-14 01:31:08 Finally was able to get Mac Identifier installed on my IIfx, running System 7.5.5. Had a couple issues at first. As soon as the extension began loading, Macsbug would kick in. Discovered that it was due to an incompatibility between it and the CFM-68K Runtime Enabler. Decided on a whim to reverse the loading order by adding a couple spaces in front of the name on the Mac Identifier extension. Now it loads just fine without crashing.
Also discovered that I can access my Macbook with Fetch. 10.6.8 won't play nice with the AppleShare 3.7.4 client on 7.5.5, unlike 10.4.11. So, can't mount the hard drive to the desktop, but I can at least FTP the files I need.
