PowerBook 3400c and CardBus USB

Posted by: UNA_Lion on 2013-10-11 22:44:38 Found this article online, which details how to fit a 3400 with a CardBus USB, and am prepared to get one off of eBay. Does this look like a good fit, or would y'all recommend something else?

Posted by: UNA_Lion on 2013-10-12 12:37:12 Went ahead and ordered the device, so will report on progress here once it gets in. Based off what I've read, will have to either shave the card itself or modify the cage to make it fit. Downloaded all the USB extensions and got rid of the errors, so from a software perspective it should be ready. Have made my 3400c WPA2-capable by taping a Netgear N300 (Wi-fi to RJ-45) on the cover. If I meet success with the USB card, will be able to power the device from this computer and still have a USB port free. Am playing with the idea of internalizing the N300, since it is smaller than an internal hard drive, and I replaced the hard drive with a 15GB flash card and adapter.
