System 7.5 US Release?

Posted by: Paralel on 2013-10-03 13:56:37 It's weird, I was looking through the Mac OS Anthology '99 DVD and there doesn't seem to be a US version of System 7.5 included on the disk. There is literally every other version, except for a US version. Was there a US release of 7.5? Or was it just the generic International version?

It's possible that it was omitted from the DVD, but I seem to remember the copy of 7.5 I purchased in 1995 being an actual US/Canadian version. I could be wrong, however. Wouldn't be the first time. -J

Posted by: dougg3 on 2013-10-03 20:05:31 Yeah, I have that same 7.5 CD version too from the USA. Here's what the packaging looked like: Also as you can see, it came with a Disk Tools floppy (which has the Apple CD-ROM extension)

Posted by: Paralel on 2013-10-25 18:31:13 I eventually did find the North American version. It's part of the Legacy Recovery CD Apple put out a long time ago. Why it was omitted from the DVD, or somehow my DVD is stupid, we may never know.
