Sonnet tempo HD / Palm / Terminators

Posted by: bibilit on 2013-09-07 06:09:30 Can you swap that HDD out if it is bad Sure, the board wasn't supplied with one when new, the HDD can be easily removed (4 screws are holding it to the board)... seems like that board can also be used for pre-G3 units (and MAC OS 8 and 9) so adding ATA utility to a SCSI only Logic Board.

I've never needed to use it because my fx is a late enough rev. that the problem was fixed. Now it's MIA, hopefully somewhere in the goodie boxen. You wouldn't have a TAM for testing performance boostage with that very 😎 card would you? Sonnet has been mainstream high end for a lot of years now, they're likely more profitable than ever.

Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2013-09-07 09:45:34 6360/6400/5400/5500/6500 would do too! I should test my Tempo Trios against that crappy early Mac IDE, now that I think about it! TAM came to mind due to the cramped confines, I should probably hack an IDE cable into my 6360/6500 hybrid bench unit. }🙂
