| SE no ADB |
Posted by: bibilit on 2015-10-11 23:36:59 I have a double 800 k SE with no ADB, i know the problem is coming from the Logic Board, using a different board works great.
Any idea where to start with ?

Posted by: Apache Thunder on 2015-10-12 08:38:39 I've heard hotplugging (or unplugging/plugging in a keyboard/mouse while the computer is on) can blow the fuse. There is a fuse for it somewhere on the logic board. Unfortunately I think you need a soldering iron and solder to properly replace it.

Posted by: unity on 2015-10-15 11:34:45 In not aware of the SE being fused when it comes to ADB. The SE/30 is the first design that I know of where it was implemented.

Posted by: unity on 2015-10-15 11:36:04 But you say using a different keyboard works great. If a different keyboard works, its not the motherboard. Or is that a type-o.

Posted by: rsolberg on 2015-10-15 16:55:52 Unity, I think that's a misread. Bibilit says it works with a different board, (not keyboard) so the issue is definitely on the logic board.
This thread from 2012 may be of help: https://68kmla.org/forums/index.php?/topic/17894-se-with-dead-adb-ports/

Should find another Board or filter.
