Simple solution is to leave on charger for an hour or so with the main battery out of the case - that gives the PRAM battery a quick charge, enough to get the PMU moving. Then the main battery will charge.
Still, I want to replace the dodgy PRAM battery, because it is still not holding settings between power-downs.
It seems to be a set of four button batteries. Haven't checked whether they are in series or parallel. Does anyone know what they are?
Any reason not to just put four plain rechargeable buttons together, rather than paying $20 + postage for a replacement?
Rick
