| Posted by: Mk.558 on 2013-03-29 17:51:16 I think renaming it can change that. They're usually loaded in alphabetical order. Or, some extensions managers can do that too. Seeing that extension conflicts were common back in the day, I'll bet there's an app that can do that.
| Posted by: Bunsen on 2013-03-30 01:23:15 Inserting a space or a ° bullet point (shift option 8 ) at the beginning of the file's name will change its alphabetical sort order (heck any character will, those are just the most commonly used ones). One will drop it to the end of the load, the other to the start, IIRC.
| Posted by: Scott Baret on 2013-03-31 19:42:22 You can also use numbers if you want to specify an order. I've seen the ~ character used too.
| Posted by: jamie marchant on 2013-05-16 12:06:09 Wow! I did not get an email when this thread was updated, let me try renaming the USB extenuations so they come up first.
| Posted by: RickNel on 2013-05-17 00:26:25 If you want complete control of the load order, not just first and last, print out a copy of the ASCII code chart to see exactly the order in which printable characters will be sorted by "alphanumeric" sorting, then apply prefix letters to extension names accordingly.
