It's our second brand new computer in 17 years, the first one being a Win 98 PC that i managed to upgrade all those years (Motherboard, Ram, HD, drives, OS...) The only part still original was the 17" LCD display (i paid an arm and leg for it) it was time for us to get something better, and Apple branded at the same time:  I have been looking at the Apple store for months, and availability was poor ( i wanted the 27") Yesterday i picked one and i should say that the new Imac is impressive. Ok,not really a conquest :beige: | |

Back then Windows 95 was just out, and a 14 or 15 -inch LCD was pretty expensive, if I remember correctly. Still, congratulations, and enjoy your new Mac. | |
