IIsi #2.35, ADB KBD & a Bracket . . .
Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2013-03-10 21:21:48
. . . I seem to be collecting things in threes.

Given the peripherals, I couldn't pass on this IIsi, I haven't had an "ADB" KBD since the storage room whirlpool made off with the only one I had. So, now I have:

IIsi #1 burned out PSU (being hacked unmercifully, but stealthily.)

IIsi #2 very nice empty shell, rescued from an auction offering it as a case for a PC Hack, so I'm defacing its pristine plastics with a Mac Hack . . .

IIsi #3 looks nice, it will likely remain stock . . . or maybe not.

So that makes almost three of the IIsi, I've got the Q700 triplets (which were chance acquisitions, but I love 'em) and almost three Pluses (one never had a MoBo).

If a 6100/66 turns up, I'll probably wind up with that along with the pair of 6100/60s.

Having never actually set out to collect any of these models at all . . . life is strange. :-/

Gotta love that KBD though! :approve:

Snagged a third drive bracket for the 950 tonight. I don't need it now, but If I passed, I'd never find one again, so this is reasonable enough.

So it goes . . .

6100/66 turns up,
Cache simm helps alot!

Might you try an over clock? Do you ever preform such black magic?

Nah, not yet, some day. Mostly I snag Accelerators, I've got an extra G-3 waiting when and if.

I've got an Output Enabler's kit for the pet IIfx, but I've left it stock so far. I think I've got one for a 6100 as well, one day I'll clip it on and give it a whirl.
