| LaserWriter 16/600 problems |
Posted by: mac2geezer on 2013-02-20 13:35:59 The Laserwriter 16/600 here has a problem with "ghosting" on print pages. The manual says to print a few pages and the ghosting should disappear, but that hasn't worked. Changing toner cartridges has no effect. Anyone have other suggestions?

Is there a mirror or lens that needs cleaned? That worked a treat with another Laserwriter of mine. Alternatively, have a close look at the drum on the cartridge and see if you have excess toner on it (it should be squeaky clean). I have had more than one reconditioned toner fail on installation. Fortunately, the 98a/98x is very inexpensive.
