I just Received - Dougg3's ROM SIMM Programmer

It's just amazing to me how much work went into this, Hardware/Firmware/Software ! I really appreciate it.

Also with this programmer, Its convenient to be able to load up your own Rom Simm, You can make it anyway you want!

The software is really easy to use, dougg3 did a great job.

CC_333 and Dougg3 have already came up with an ICON for the programmer, doug just has not had anytime to add it into the current software release,

so for the time being i'v added my own 🙂

It's a neat toy and works very well. I built one from a kit I got from him although normally they come pre-assembled. I run mine with Windows XP and it works great. Also while it's not technically supported, it can also read stock factory ROM SIMMs making it useful for testing or identifying unknown ROMs. Obviously you can't program the stock mask ROMs though.

Sort-of, added a some red, I like the first one the best, It goes with the snow leopard background nicely 🙂
